This is the privacy policy for Volcano Base (volcanobase.co), run by Phil Dearson. It covers what information is collected when you use this site, and what happens to it.

Analytics

This site uses Plausible Analytics, a privacy-friendly tool that doesn’t use cookies and doesn’t collect personal data. It gives me aggregate stats like page views and referrers. Nothing is shared with advertising networks.

Contact form

If you fill in the contact form, your name, email address, and message are sent directly to me by email. Nothing is stored on this site.

Newsletter

If you subscribe to the newsletter, your email address is stored and managed by Buttondown. I use it only to send the newsletter. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email.

Gift shop

Purchases are handled by Lemon Squeezy (a Stripe company). I don’t see or store your payment details. They handle the transaction and have their own privacy policy.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, or delete any personal data I hold about you. To exercise any of these rights, or if you have a question about this policy, email phil@volcanobase.co.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner’s Office.
