The Core is a limited series of concise principles, sharing the ideas that sit at the heart of everything I do.

Once you start automating processes, especially with AI, it’s tempting to start automating everything. But I think that’s a mistake.

I can automate my weekly newsletter, but I enjoy the process of thinking about it and writing it, so why would I deny myself that enjoyment?

I can automate the production of proposals, but I enjoy thinking through a problem, even if the creation of the document is a chore. So I give myself more thinking time by automating the documentation of my ideas once I’ve had them.

Automate the grind, not the good stuff.
